discipleship

Jesus' Mission for the Church, Matthew 28:16-20

On World Mission Sunday in the Anglican Church in North America, we step back to understand the grand calling upon the church to make disciples of all nations. What does this mean for us? How is it to be accomplished? How do we walk in this reality? Father Jeremiah teaches through the last few verses of Matthew 28 and shows how Jesus is the cornerstone of this grand work given to the church.

Where You Go, Jesus Goes, Luke 10:1-20

When Jesus sent the 70/72 disciples out to all the places that he would go, the receiving of them was a receiving of himself and the rejection of them was a rejection of himself. What does this mean? It means that Jesus is going with his people wherever he sends them. He goes with us that we might be strengthened in all that we do by his working through us.

The Model Disciple, Mark 10.46-52

What does a blind beggar have to tell us about true discipleship? Quite a lot! Father Jeremiah looks at Bartimaeus, the blind beggar outside of Jericho, and what he can teach us about being a disciple of Jesus.
